About the Role:
As a Research Scientist in Model Optimization and Post-Training, you will focus on improving the performance, alignment, and real-world applicability of ACC Group’s Financial AGI models. Your mission is to bridge the gap between foundational research and production systems — refining trained models through fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and continuous feedback from real financial environments.

You will work on techniques that make our models more efficient, reliable, and interpretable in real-time applications, such as portfolio optimization, risk forecasting, and autonomous investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and post-training experiments for Financial AGI models
  • Develop evaluation metrics and feedback loops to assess performance in applied financial contexts
  • Optimize inference pipelines for latency, accuracy, and energy efficiency
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to create scalable data feedback systems from live trading and client interaction layers
  • Research novel methods for model compression, distillation, and domain adaptation
  • Implement robust evaluation frameworks for regression, classification, and policy optimization tasks
  • Conduct ablation studies and comparative analysis to identify optimal training strategies
  • Partner with AI infrastructure and deployment teams to integrate optimized models into production environments

Requirements:

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of research or engineering experience focusing on model training, fine-tuning, or optimization
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Deep understanding of reinforcement learning, policy optimization, or reward modeling
  • Familiarity with model evaluation techniques (RLHF, PPO, DPO, or similar frameworks)
  • Experience with large-scale inference pipelines and GPU/TPU optimization
  • Strong grasp of numerical analysis, experimental design, and performance evaluation
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage

  • Analytical and detail-oriented with a strong sense of experimental discipline
  • Enthusiastic about bridging research and deployment to improve model performance in production
  • Passionate about real-world impact and AI models that make measurable financial improvements
  • Comfortable collaborating with both researchers and software engineers in fast-paced environments
