About the Role:
As a Research Scientist in Model Development, you will work on the foundation of ACC Group’s Financial AGI systems — designing, training, and scaling the core models that drive our investment intelligence. You will be responsible for developing new architectures, optimizing training objectives, and creating the next generation of AI models capable of reasoning across dynamic financial environments.

This role combines deep expertise in machine learning and large-scale systems with the rigor of quantitative research. You will collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and quantitative analysts to push the boundaries of what intelligent systems can learn from structured and unstructured financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and train large-scale models for financial reasoning, prediction, and decision-making
  • Develop and evaluate model architectures and training objectives suited for complex, multi-modal data sources
  • Implement large distributed training systems using PyTorch or JAX on multi-GPU or TPU infrastructure
  • Contribute to algorithmic innovations in reinforcement learning, representation learning, and self-supervised learning
  • Build scalable data preprocessing and augmentation pipelines for structured, text, and market data
  • Conduct research experiments to analyze model interpretability, learning dynamics, and convergence stability
  • Collaborate closely with post-training and deployment teams to ensure smooth transition from research to production
  • Publish and present internal research findings, contributing to ACC’s growing research corpus on Financial AGI

Requirements:

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of research or industry experience in deep learning and large-scale model development
  • Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
  • Deep understanding of model architectures (Transformers, GNNs, Diffusion Models, RL-based systems)
  • Experience with distributed training, model parallelism, and large-scale infrastructure
  • Familiarity with optimization algorithms, numerical stability, and gradient analysis
  • Strong publication record or demonstrable research portfolio in ML or AI systems
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage
