- Conduct statistical and time-series analyses using Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Contribute to research on predictive modeling, factor analysis, and stochastic processes in global markets.
- Perform backtesting, scenario simulations, and model performance evaluations.
- Assist in maintaining and improving internal analytical tools, research pipelines, and data infrastructure.
- Prepare clear documentation, model summaries, and visualizations for internal and research use.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, quantitative analysts, and AI engineers to support integration of models into the investment framework.
- Stay informed about developments in quantitative finance, applied mathematics, and machine learning.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and mathematical foundation, particularly in probability, statistics, and linear algebra.
- Basic experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Interest in financial markets, algorithmic trading, or quantitative modeling.
- Ability to work independently and solve complex problems with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Initial experience (academic, research, or internship) in quantitative finance, data modeling, or applied statistics.
- Familiarity with SQL or other database management tools for large-scale data handling.
- Understanding of financial instruments (equities, derivatives, fixed income) and market mechanics.
- Curiosity about AI integration in finance, risk modeling, or systematic trading strategies.
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to meaningful research projects.
