About the Role:
As Chief Compliance Officer, you will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of the compliance and risk-governance framework across all ACC Group AG entities in Switzerland, Germany, and future international jurisdictions. You will ensure that our AI-driven asset and wealth-management operations meet the highest regulatory, ethical, and governance standards while supporting innovation within our Financial AGI environment.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on regulatory expertise. You will report directly to the CEO and Board of Directors, acting as the independent voice for integrity, transparency, and accountability across all business lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance the Group’s Compliance Management System (CMS) in alignment with FINMA, BaFin, MiFID II, and EU AI Act requirements
  • Oversee compliance functions for portfolio management, client advisory, trading, data governance, and AI model oversight
  • Establish internal policies and monitoring programs covering AML/CFT, data protection (FADP / GDPR), market conduct, outsourcing, and ESG disclosure obligations
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulators and auditors, coordinating licensing, supervisory, and examination processes
  • Lead the AI Ethics & Model Governance Committee, ensuring responsible AI deployment, explainability, and traceability within the Group’s Financial AGI systems
  • Review, approve, and monitor all investment and distribution activities to ensure adherence to internal risk and compliance limits
  • Advise the Board and executive management on emerging regulatory developments and their strategic implications for ACC Group’s products and markets
  • Manage, mentor, and expand the Compliance & Risk team, fostering a culture of professionalism, precision, and ethical leadership
  • Deliver periodic compliance reports to the Board, including the annual FINMA compliance statement and risk-assessment updates
  • Represent ACC Group in industry working groups and external committees related to digital finance, AI ethics, and financial regulation

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Finance, or related discipline; Swiss bar admission or LL.M. / MBA / PhD a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in compliance or legal leadership roles within asset management, private banking, or FinTech
  • Deep knowledge of Swiss and EU financial regulations (FINIG/FIDLEG, AMLA, MiFID II, GDPR/FADP, SFDR) and experience interacting with FINMA or BaFin
  • Proven track record in building and managing compliance frameworks in technology-driven or cross-border financial institutions
  • Familiarity with AI model governance, data ethics, and algorithmic accountability
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to influence executive decisions with clarity and integrity
  • Fluent in English and German (French or other EU languages are an asset)
